How are items cleaned?

How pieces are cleaned really depends on the item. Some can be machine washed unless the material says otherwise. Many vintage pieces are made with delicate fabrics and can’t go in the machine. Others are hand washed and hung to dry the old-fashioned way. It all comes down to the fabric and the item’s specific needs. Some require dry cleaning only, while delicate ones are left untouched. Durable vintage pieces with the right fabric may be steam cleaned to smooth out wrinkles and keep them sanitized. For hard goods and accessories, items might be wiped down or left in their original state, which is often the best choice.

Are items in each Era always available?
