Era: Mid-Century Art Nouveau Revival (c. 1960s/70s)
Material: Tempered Glass, Gilt Finish, Lithograph
Dimensions: [9×9]
Care: This is a vintage gilded item. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not submerge in water or use harsh chemicals to ensure the gold finish stays intact
Vintage Condition with beautiful signs of history. This tray has been well-preserved over the decades and remains structurally sound with no chips or cracks in the glass.
Surface: The front glass is smooth and clear, beautifully protecting the central lithograph portrait.
Gilding & Patina: As is common with authentic mid-century Arcoroc gilded pieces, there is natural “foxing” and light oxidation to the gold finish on the reverse side. This creates a lovely, mottled antique effect that adds antique character and confirms its vintage age. The dark “foxing” or speckling visible through the glass is the natural oxidation of the metallic gilding on the back.
Wear: Minor surface scuffs consistent with gentle use on a vanity over the last 50+ years.
