The Story
Vintage 60s Empire Waist prairie Dress is a romantic Gown from the late 60s or early 1970s . Perfect as a St Patrick’s gown,party or a formal event. It has a union label. The bodice is Emerald Green Forest color in Green crushed velvet material. The empire waist is figure flattering. The flowing maxi skirt is made from a light, airy fabric likely a chiffon, rayon in a Mint Green shade. With a lining underneath.
Has scoop neckline and Long sleeves with slight puff to them.
A matching satin ribbon sash is on the empire waist and can tie in a dramatic way in the back.
Snap buttons on the cuffs and a long metal zipper in the back for closure.

Condition:
Dress is beautiful in vintage condition. It is stable and structurally great and ready to wear. However it has had a few areas that were sewed. One on the end of the sleeve one on the middle of the sleeve on both sides and one on the skirt. I try showing these in the photos. Please look at photos as they are part of the description.
