The Story
This is a beautiful vintage mid century clip-on brooch from the 1950s it has a cluster or grape cluster style small, faux pearls.
Pearls: Faux pearls are in an off-white or silver creamy color
Other Small, clear, faceted gems provide a subtle sparkle.
The back has a clip which is normal for older costume jewelry, particularly from the mid-20th century
The metal on the back appears to be a gold-tone base that has developed a warm patina or oxidation over time, giving it a rich, dark bronze color in the center. The clip itself is bright silver or rhodium-plated.
Condition: The front is in good vintage condition. The back shows significant patina/wear on the central circular plate, which is typical for an older piece of costume jewelry.
It would be a perfect accessory for a jacket lapel, hat, scarf, or dress.
