Welcome to Romans 828 Vintage. By shopping with me, you are supporting the preservation of fashion history. Because archival clothing is unique, please review my shop standards below.

1. The Nature of Archival Vintage

All items in the collection are authentic true vintage, ranging from the 1920s through the Y2k

  • Condition: These pieces have a past life. Please expect minor signs of wear consistent with age. I take great care in my curation and will clearly disclose any significant flaws (stains, holes, or repairs) in the product description and photos.
  • Fabric Authenticity: To ensure accuracy, I perform physical fiber tests (such as burn tests) on unlabelled garments to distinguish between natural fibers like silk or cotton and synthetic materials. I also Study seams, zippers and do research to ensure dating the garment is as accurately as possible.

2. Shipping Policy

I want to get your vintage goodies to you safely and affordably.

  • Flat Rate Shipping: I offer a flat rate shipping fee of $7.99 on all domestic orders.
  • Processing Time: I typically process and ship orders from my Minnesota office in 3 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your package is on its way.

3. Return Policy

I want you to love your archival finds. If an item doesn’t work out:

  • 30-Day Returns: I accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Condition for Returns: Items must be returned in the exact condition they were received.
  • How to Start a Return: Please contact me at hello@romans828vintage.com to initiate the process. Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer

4. Sizing & Measurements

Vintage sizing varies drastically across eras and brands.

  • Measure Twice: I provide detailed measurements (taken flat) for every garment. Please do not rely on the tag size. * Fit Guarantee: I recommend comparing my measurements to a similar garment you already own. I cannot offer refunds for fit issues if the measurements provided were accurate unless you reach out and have a very specific situation. I am easy to work with.

5. Integrity & Values

As a Christian business owner, I operate under the principle of “For Richer or For Poorer”—offering a high-low range of archival fashion with honesty and integrity. I reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders that do not align with my shop’s mission of maintaining a respectful and professional community.
